Rise and Ride at Kings Highway School

Walk Bike Westport joined Kings Highway School's third Rise and Ride event this Earth Month, alongside the Westport Police Department and CB Sportif in support of the morning's activities.

Ahead of the school day, students and their families gathered on the track to ride laps together, a simple but meaningful way to begin the day with movement, fresh air, and community. The event offered an opportunity to highlight bike and helmet safety, and to reinforce cycling as a healthy, sustainable mode of transportation.

Initiatives like Rise and Ride reflect the values Walk Bike Westport champions year-round: safer streets, stronger habits of active transportation, and school communities that make biking and walking an everyday choice.
