Bridge-to-Bridge Ride
Building on last year’s Bridge-to-Bridge Walk, Walk Bike Westport invites the community to get on their bikes for the Bridge-to-Bridge Ride; First learn about the basics of safe riding, then join us for a family-friendly, 3-mile group ride connecting Downtown Westport and Saugatuck.
The ride is about more than biking. It’s an opportunity to experience Westport together and celebrate a town that is beautiful, active, and accessible by many different ways of getting around. We believe our streets should safely serve everyone—whether you’re walking, biking, driving, or using another mode of transportation.
Adults and children ages 8 and up are welcome to join us. This is a community event designed for families, neighbors, town officials, and anyone who wants to feel more confident and enjoy Westport by bike.
To participate, riders should be able to safely and comfortably ride approximately 3 miles without assistance or training wheels. Children must ride with a parent or guardian. The entire group will travel together at one comfortable, family-friendly pace, with support from the Westport Police Department.
